Sticks zucchini in cheese batter


Zucchini — 2-3 medium pieces.
Breadcrumbs — 1 cup
Salt and black pepper
Dried herbs (thyme, oregano) or a mixture of dried herbs of Provence
A bit of garlic powder
Parmesan — 100 g
Eggs — 2 pcs.
A little olive oil or spray


1. Preheat oven to 220C.
Zucchini Wash, wipe with a paper towel and trim the ends.
2. Now we need planed sticks. I cut the zucchini in half lengthwise, each half (and along) layers of a thickness of approximately 1.5 cm, and much of the layers cut into long sticks.
3. It is desirable that they be smooth as possible, although this stage like to get it over and, as you can see, not all the sticks are ideal.
4. In the plate beat the eggs with a fork. In another dish mix the dry ingredients — bread crumbs (I prefer the Japanese «punk» — who uses it, understands the difference), dried herbs, salt, garlic, freshly ground black pepper.
5. Grate the cheese and add to the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly.
6. Dip each stick in a bowl with the egg, lightly shake to get rid of excess egg, then roll in the dry mixture on all sides.
7. Ready sticks to spread in rows on a baking sheet covered with a silicone mat or baking paper and lightly oiled.
8. Sprinkle sticks with olive oil (very convenient to use oil as a spray).
9. Send in a hot oven and bake until golden brown and ready, 10 to 15 minutes.
Cooking time depends on the size — my wand perfectly parched for 9 minutes.
One time (after 5 minutes, when flushed), it is necessary to turn the sticks.
10. Serve immediately. This is delicious. Especially with tomato sauce.
