Orange cake

I draw the attention of Weight Watchers: in the cake is not a single gram of oil products and general low. Yet it is a budget option.
Cake turns out very fragrant, sunny, bright as if with candied fruit, I recommend!


1 orange
3 eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of vanillin
3/4 cup raisins, previously soaked in alcohol (optional)


1. Orange (whole, with skin) and place in a small saucepan with water, bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat, drain the water, cool slightly orange.

2. turn on the oven 180C. The form of grease, lay a paper for baking.
Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy white mass (about 10 minutes). Then gently enter into the mix together the sifted flour, baking powder and vanilla.

3. Orange cut into 6 pieces, grind in a blender to puree. Enter orange puree in the dough.

4. Raisins dry, roll in flour, put in the dough at the last turn.

5. The dough is poured into the mold, put in an already heated oven for 45 minutes.
Cool completely on a wire rack, feeding can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
