Honey cake


(At 14 servings)

With a pineapple: pastry will be juicy!

  • ½ can tinned pineapples (6 circles)
  • 5 soup spoon of honey
  • 250 g softened butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • Pinch of the orange¢s zest
  • 5 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • Pack of baking powder
  • 150 g ground almonds
  • 8 soup spoon freshly orange juice



  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Shape lay a paper for baking. Paper and rim shape grease and flour.
  2. Drained fluid from tinned pineapples. Leave 3 tablespoons and mix it with 4 tablespoons of honey. Then stirring constantly, boil down a strong fire to the state of thick syrup.
  3. Circles of pineapples lay at the bottom of the shape and pour the pineapple-honey syrup. To melt butter with sugar. Add 1 tablespoon honey and orange¢s zest.
  4. Then stir in eggs one at a time, to add flour, baking powder, almonds, orange juice and mix up thoroughly.
  5. Pastry lay into the shape on top of pineapples, smoothed special scapula and place in oven for 1 hr. Ready pie cool slightly, overturn the board and give it a final cool.

Time for cooking: 1,5 hr
