Homemade chocolate syrup

The basic recipe is very simple, and the syrup is a much cheaper bought in the store.

Ingredients:

— 1/2 cup cocoa powder
— 1 cup water
— 2 cups sugar
— 1/8 teaspoon salt
— 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation:

1. Mix the cocoa with water and heated with stirring to cocoa dissolved. Add the sugar. Boil for 3 minutes over medium heat. Be careful not to overheat the syrup!

2. Add the salt and vanilla. Cool the syrup. Pour into a clean glass jar and store in refrigerator for no longer than 3-4 months.

3. The syrup obtained is very saturated, so a glass of milk will suffice just one teaspoon.
