Christmas ginger cookies


400 g flour

200 g sugar

100 g butter

75 ml milk

0,5 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 yolk



1. Boil syrup with milk and sugar, cool.

2. Softened butter beat with a mixer, add syrup, mix and gradually add sifted flour with species and baking powder.

3. Shape pastry into circle; roll it out on sprinkled table to the desired size and cut out shapes.

4. Lay cookies into baking sheet, grease yolk with water and bake at the temperature 200°C for 10-15 minutes.

5. If you don¢t plan decorate cookies with cream, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.

Butter cream for decoration


  • 125 g butter
  • 60 g powdered sugar
  • 50 g condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon brandy or rum


Whip butter with powdered sugar, add condensed milk little by little. Put the cream in a pastry bag with the narrowest nozzle and draw cookies.

Protein frosting


  • 1 protein
  • 200 g powdered sugar


Beat up eggs into a dense foam for the fastest speed of the mixer. Add the half of the sifted powdered sugar, beat well, add the rest powder, beat and put frosting to a packet or pastry bag. From cookies shaped like stars of different sizes easy to make Christmas tree – lay smeared with a cream cookies like a pyramid and draw it with protein frosting, sprinkle it  with colored sugar and decorate colorful sugar balls.
