Cake «Crazy cake»

The name of the cake «crazy cake» comes from the name of sponge cake — a famous cake without eggs and butter (a great meatless option, by the way!). And we supplement it with butter cream and chocolate icing.


For the sponge:

Wheat flour — 400 g
Cocoa powder — 45 g
Sugar — 350 g
Salt — 1/8 ch. L.
Soda — 2 h. L.
Vinegar — 10 ml
Vegetable oil — 50 ml
Cold water — 450 ml

For the cream:

Cream cheese dessert — 370 g
Powdered sugar — 60 g
Cream 20% — 20 ml

For frosting (ganache):

Dark Chocolate — 120 g
Cream 20% — 120 ml


1. In a large bowl sift through a sieve the flour and cocoa, add salt, sugar, baking soda, stir.
2. In the center make a well, add vinegar, vegetable oil and cold water. Stir silicone spatula or whisk until smooth.
3. Bowl Multivarki oiled with silicone brush and pour the dough into it, flatten. Set the mode of «baking» for 1 hour 10 minutes.
4. At the end of the program to check the readiness of cake — wooden skewers from the middle of the biscuit should go dry.
5. Ready cake removed from Multivarki using stand steaming, cool. String or a sharp knife to cut the cake into two equal parts. If desired, the biscuits may be impregnated with a mixture of honey and warm water. Beat with a mixer all the ingredients for the cream and lubricate them bottom cake (optional another side). Cover with second biscuit.
6. In a bowl break the plain chocolate, cream, bring to a boil and pour them into the chocolate. Actively stir whisk to glaze became smooth and uniform. Put into the refrigerator for 20 minutes (not more).
7. Take the icing of the refrigerator, stir and pour over the top of the cake. Remove the cake in the refrigerator for 2-12 hours.
