Burfi — Indian sweetness

Indian sweetness — burfi, is a milk sweet with the addition of nuts and coconut shavings. The recipe for burfi can also include dried apricots, raisins, dried bananas. Preparing the burfi does not take long, and a ready-made dessert will please adults and children with a delicate and exquisite taste.

Ingredients:

500 g of dry milk with a fat content of not less than 25% (without vegetable additives)
200 g of butter
200 g sour cream
200 g of sugar
15 g vanillin
300 g cashew nuts

Preparation:

1. Melted butter in a frying pan and pour sugar, stirring constantly. When the mass begins to bubble, stirring, add sour cream.
2. Bring the resulting composition to foam. Pour the hot mass into a cup. Gradually falling asleep dry milk and vanilla, whip the mixer until thick.
3. Put the resulting mass in a form covered with parchment. For originality, different molds can be used.
4. Top with nuts and press them with your hands.
5. Put the mold to freeze in the freezer for 30 minutes. Before serving, cut into cubes.
