«Bob chorba»


Beans (white) — 500 g
Bulgarian pepper — 1 pc.
bow — 2 pcs.
celery (root) — 150 g
Garlic — 3-4 cloves
Water — 1.5 L
carrots — 2 pcs.
tomatoes (or tomato paste) — 2 pcs. or 2 tablespoons
vegetable oil — 150 ml
parsley — 1 bunch
Mint (dried) — 1 tbsp
salt — to taste
pepper — to taste
bay leaves — to taste


1. Beans overnight soak in cold water (you can in rare cases, replace canned).
2. Onions cut into cubes.
3. diced carrots.
4. celery cut into cubes.
5. Bulgarian pepper cut into cubes.
6. If you use tomatoes instead of tomato paste, and chop them cube.
7. Chop garlic.
8. Fry the onions, carrots and celery in oil.
9. Add the bell pepper and tomatoes or tomato paste, lightly fry.
10. Add the beans, pour 2 cups of water and simmer for 1 hour (in beans beans should always simmer).
11. Then pour another 1 liter of water, add the minced garlic, salt, pepper, bay leaf and mint.
Cook for 20 minutes.
12. «Bob chorba», Bulgarian fragrant soup with white beans, ready!
