Air lace rolls

Extraordinary, elegant, lacy muffins! Before such beauty, few can stand !!! Loved buns, look how easy it is to make the lace. Even a child will cope.


— 350 g flour
— 80 g of soft butter
— 2 egg yolks
— 140 grams of warm milk
— 3 tablespoons sugar
— 1 packet of vanilla sugar
— 10 grams of yeast
— A little sweet milk for the lubrication of rolls
— Powdered sugar


In a bowl pour the milk. Add 1 tsp sugar. Pour the yeast, stir, cover with a cloth and leave for 10 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar and salt. Add the prepared sponge + milk + sugar and eggs. Mix with a spoon. When the dough becomes difficult to stir, add the chopped butter into small pieces.
Knead the dough for 10 minutes. Put the dough in a clean bowl, cover with a cloth and leave in a warm place for about 1.5 hours until the dough rise (increase in 2 times).

Forming rolls.

Divide dough into two parts. Roll is not too thin. Cut slices (here 5 cm in diameter). Fold the three circles of dough, as shown in the figure. Hide them together, and then cut in half and you have 2 pieces of lace. This is done with the whole test.

Cover the cake pan with baking paper, lace put not too tight. Grease muffin sweet milk and give them the increase in volume, bake for about 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180C.
Garnish with powdered sugar.
